Food Chronicles: Breakfast Time

We have been told at a young age that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Well whoever keeps telling us that is right, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It can help healthy weight loss, speed up your metabolism and energize you.

I have a confession though, I don’t always eat “breakfast” foods for breakfast. Lots of times I don’t mind, other times I tend to feel it’s a bit disgusting. Because of this I’ve searched through my never ending file of recipes to bring you this breakfast time treat.

Egg And Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients

Prep:  4min |Cook: 6min |Total: 10min

Directions

1. Lightly coat a non stick skillet with cooking spray and add the egg. (Break the yolk if you want to.) While the egg is frying, toast the bread and layer the ham, cheese, tomato, and romaine on one slice, with the lettuce on the bottom. Top with the cooked egg and the remaining slice of bread.
